1. The Basics - things that never really need to come out of the bag.

1. The Basics - things that never really need to come out of the bag.

Tie a vintage scarf around the handle to give your bag a unique personality, make it easy to identify in a crowd of other straw bags (i.e. at upcoming music festivals such as WAYHOME) & for nonchalant-cool ManRepeller- esque vibes.  Fill bag with a vintage indigo cloth, perfect as a park blanket when you find yourself at the Sorauren Farmer's market on Monday (a.k.a utopia)  or as a throw to keep you warm when you end up at the Bar Raval patio on a cool summer evening. Throw in a pair of embroidered Moroccan Babouches because Zara/H&M aren't making versions of them yet, and they are the chicest summer commuter shoe available, like Working Girl x Isabelle Marant. Add a Patagonia water bottle because buying water is gross and Patagonia is the benchmark for how companies should operate and is run by mega-inspiring #girlboss Rosa Marcario. Also, a customized Shinola notebook because you never know when you will be struck by a brilliant idea or witty thought, anything from Glossier that your friend from NY (or L.A) sent as a birthday present (literally, holding our breath for international shipping), & finally a pair of fat cat-eye sunglasses from Armed on Dundas you got that time you and the crew had a picnic (A.K.A excuse to drink beer & wine out of red solo cups & check out cute boys)  in Trinity Bellwoods and forgot to bring sunnies to make checking out boys more discreet. Pair bag with pretty much any outfit, day or night. Feel awesome.  Come say hi to John and me at Mellah Moroccan Rugs on College St. in Toronto and show us #whatsinyourbag.
